Can I travel with my pet?

If we agree to carry your PET; carriage will be subject to the following conditions:

  • You must ensure that animals such as cats, dogs or other household pets, are properly crated and accompanied by valid health and vaccination certificates, entry permits, and other documents required by countries of transit or final entry. Acceptance of the pet entry will remain subject to the regulations of that countries.
  • If accepted as baggage, the animal together with its container and food, shall not be included in your free baggage allowance but shall constitute excess baggage against payment based on applicable rate.
  • Some pets maybe carried in the passenger cabin if they, in addition to above conditions, are carried in special cage with proper locks, not more than 7kg and cage dimensions of 55x40x20 cm.
  • We reserve the right to determine the manner and number of animals which may be carried on same flight.  

 

Are there any special requirements to allow babies to travel?

Our staff is available to assist mothers and their babies throughout the entire flight. However, babies and children under different age categories require certain arrangements and regulations to be applied before your travel day; that can be obtained from our sales offices:

  • Infants (between 0-2 years) are allowed to travel only if they are accompanied by their parent.
  • Children (between 2-5 years) are allowed to travel without their parent provided a special escorting by an extra cabin crew is assigned to care for them during flight.
  •  Children between (6-11 years) are allowed to travel alone provided certain requirements are fulfilled. 

Note: Air travel not recommended for:

  • Newborn babies less than 7 days old.
  • Premature babies unless a special form providing medical clearance and preferably accompanied by a qualified medical attendant. 

 

Up to what point during a pregnancy can a woman fly without having to worry about any risk?
  • Expectant mothers are carried on our flights up to 4 weeks before the expected delivery date.
  • Presentation of a medical certificate maybe required from your doctor confirming you are in good health and there is no reason to stop you from flying.

NO SMOKING FLIGHTS

  • ALL our flights are non-smoking flights.
  • Smoking is prohibited in all areas of the aircraft.

SECURITY

  • For your safety, you shall submit to any security checks by government, airport officials or by us.
